Pink Birds, Sarah Roberts and Sally Jaye, began their musical collaboration in 2012 as Ladies Gun Club. Under that name they recorded a self-titled EP in Laurel Canyon followed by their highly acclaimed album Take My Love Away — both releases landing their music in various Network TV shows and feature films, a perfect fit, as both Sarah and Sally Jaye have worked on screen as actors and performers and music creators for film/tv. Additionally, Sarah Roberts works as a film and stage composer and sound designer.

Their latest album, now under the new band name, Pink Birds, recorded in Nashville, Tn, produced by Brian Wright, is a collection of songs that reflect on feminine themes, including the complicated connection of joy and turmoil within maternal relationships and the current reality versus the hope for equality. Think Emmylou Harris meets PJ Harvey - roots driven songs with modern, cinematic sounds and production.
